Dans les cercles de Macina, Banamba, Diré et dans la région de Ménaka, l’insécurité a contraint plusieurs enseignants à quitter leurs postes depuis quelques années. La situation préoccupe les autorités scolaires de ces zones malgré les efforts déployés pour résoudre le problème.

Malick Djibo est le directeur du centre d’animation pédagogique du cercle de Macina dans la région de Segou. Il indique que l’insuffisance des enseignants impacte tous les ordres d’enseignement dans le cercle. Cela malgré les efforts consentis pour résoudre ce problème. « Dans certaines spécialités, nous n’avons qu’un seul spécialiste par école. Surtout au fondamental 2. Quand il tombe malade, la chaîne est coupée. Vraiment c’est un problème », déplore M.Djibo qui affirme que des solutions palliatives sont mises en place parfois. « Nous essayons quand même de faire face. Souvent nous demandons aux communautés ou aux collectivités de recruter certains enseignants volontaires pour essayer de pallier ce problème ».

Cette situation prévaut également dans la région de Ménaka où la majorité des enseignants sont absents à tous les niveaux d’enseignement nous confie Bouhaina Mahmoud Baby Président de la commission éducation du collège transitoire de Ménaka. « Sur plus de 160 enseignants que compte le centre d’animation pédagogique CAP de Ménaka, il n’y a pas plus de 60 qui sont présents sur le terrain. Au lycée public de Ménaka, on n’ a pas un permanent en Anglais, en mathématiques, en physique chimie. Et l’alibi que tout le monde tient est l’insécurité », explique-t-il. Et l’autorité intérimaire d’ajouter « Les enfants sont en train de souffrir à Ménaka à cause de ce manque criard d’enseignants ».

Plusieurs écoles ne fonctionnent plus dans le cercle de Diré dans la région de Tombouctou depuis 6 ans pour manque d’enseignants, selon les autorités locales. Elles soulignent que les enseignants ont peur de se rendre dans la ville à cause de l’insécurité.
