Dans le cadre de la lutte contre le banditisme, le Commissaire Divisionnaire Sékou Mané et son adjoint, le Commissaire Moussa B. Keïta, sont engagés dans la traque des malfaiteurs. C’est ainsi que les limiers ont alpagué deux présumés bandits.

Selon les informations, c’est le 4 octobre dernier, que les éléments de la Brigade de Recherches dudit Commissariat ont interpellé au cours d’une ronde, deux jeunes hommes en compagnie de deux prostitués dans le jardin de l’hôtel Bunker de Faso Kanu. Ils étaient en possession d’une moto de provenance douteuse. Illico presto, ils ont été conduits dans les locaux du commissariat pour vérification d’identité et de la provenance de la moto. L’interrogatoire des deux jeunes hommes a poussé les limiers à effectuer une perquisition dans leur repaire. Cette opération a permis de retrouver une seconde moto ainsi que deux pistolets de fabrication artisanale améliorée avec des cartouches.

Les deux bandits ont été mis à la disposition du Tribunal de grande instance de la Commune VI aux fins de droits.
