Le Mali a réussi, le 6 décembre 2023, son emprunt de 20,18 milliards FCFA sur le marché des titres publics de l’Union monétaire ouest africaine (UMOA).
L’opération comprend une émission simultanée de deux Bons assimilables du Trésor (BAT) de maturité six mois et un an, et une Obligation assimilable du Trésor (OAT) de maturité trois ans. La valeur nominale unitaire est de 1 million FCFA pour les deux BAT, et de 10 000 FCFA pour obligations assimilables du Trésor (OAT).
Avec un taux de couverture ressorti à 101,01%, cette opération a réuni un nombre important d’investisseurs de la région pour un carnet d’ordres de 20,20 milliards FCFA sur 20 milliards FCFA sollicité.
Les offres retenues proviennent de cinq pays sur les huit États membres de l’Union, à savoir le Mali (18,28 milliards FCFA), le Bénin (1,33 milliards FCFA), le Burkina Faso (0,33 milliard FCFA), Sénégal (0,21 milliard FCFA), et la Côte d’Ivoire (0,01 milliard FCFA).
L’émission a été marquée par la souscription massive des investisseurs locaux qui s’élèvent à 90,58%.
