De graves conséquences sur la santé
Pourtant, ces installations ne sont pas sans conséquences sur la santé. Selon Dr Salaha Garba, elles peuvent provoquer des problèmes de santé comme le cancer. « Plusieurs fois où les antennes sont installées au niveau des maisons, on voit un problème de stérilité ou des avortements répétitifs. Il y a des déformations chez l’enfant, des malformations », ajoute-t-il.
Les ingénieurs en télécommunications corroborent ces propos. Ils appellent l’État à être plus regardant sur l’installation de ces antennes sur les toits des maisons. Car disent-ils les ondes que ces dispositifs émettent peuvent nuire à la santé.
