Des actes de violence ont ciblé ces derniers jours des populations à Macina dans la région de Segou, Banamba, dans la région Koulikoro et Kimparana dans la région de San. Au même moment, l’armée, dans sa mission de sécurisation des personnes et de leurs biens dit avoir repoussé et neutralisé des groupes terroristes.

Au centre du pays, des sources locales alertent sur la détérioration de la situation humanitaire à Saye dans le cercle de Macina, région de Ségou. Elles affirment que la localité reste toujours encerclée par des hommes armés qui cibleraient la population civile.

Toujours dans le cercle de Macina, des hommes armés non identifiés à motos ont fait irruption dans le village de Kayo commune de Kolongo, samedi 7 décembre 2024, rapportent des sources locales. Ils ont tué un homme et emporté plusieurs motos indiquent les mêmes sources.

À Banamba, dans la région de Koulikoro, des bandits armés ont tué un commerçant entre Kacoun et Banamba. Au nord du pays, à Léré, l’adjoint au maire a été récemment enlevé et le pont de Dabi reliant Léré à Niafunké a aussi été saboté par des hommes armés.

Par ailleurs, les forces armées maliennes, dans un communiqué disent avoir riposté vigoureusement à une attaque des terroristes qui a visé la gendarmerie à Kimparana le 7 décembre 2024. Selon l’état-major général des armées, plusieurs colonnes de terroristes, à pied, à moto et sur des tricycles, ont subi d’énormes pertes et plusieurs armements et munitions ont été récupérés, précise le communiqué.

Les FAMa maintiennent le Cap

Sur ces attaques récurrentes et sporadiques, le géopolitologue et analyste sécuritaire, Dr Adama Diabaté, affirme qu’elles sont inhérentes à la nature de la crise que traverse le pays. Mais il rassure également que cela n’entache en rien la montée en puissance de l’armée.
