Au lendemain de son retour au Cameroun et après plusieurs semaines d’absence qui avaient alimenté de nombreuses rumeurs sur son état de santé, le Président Paul Biya a repris les affaires en main en procédant à une importante série de nominations au sein du ministère de la Défense.
Par décret signé mardi 22 octobre, le président camerounais Paul Biya a procédé à la nomination de plusieurs officiers supérieurs à des postes clés de l’administration centrale et des États-majors. Ces décisions interviennent alors que son absence prolongée de la scène publique avait suscité des spéculations.
Au Contrôle général des armées, trois nouveaux contrôleurs ont été nommés : le Colonel Bindjeme Anglade Bobet, le Capitaine de vaisseau Nitcheu Gabriel, et le Colonel Ndoum Mvondo Joseph. L’Inspection générale des armées accueille deux inspecteurs : le Colonel Ayang Frederick Enoh et le Capitaine de vaisseau Ele Mengue Marcel, tandis que le Colonel Ekanga Pierre Constantin est désigné Conseiller technique.
Au sein de la Gendarmerie nationale, le Colonel Abdoulaye Amoa Abel est nommé Inspecteur à l’Inspection générale. Dans l’administration centrale, le Colonel Beyem Ebanga Armand devient Directeur central adjoint de la logistique, et d’autres nominations touchent les affaires administratives et financières.
À l’École supérieure internationale de guerre, le Colonel Ngassa Kouynou Gilles Ulrich prend la tête du Groupement de l’enseignement général. D’autres postes sont attribués à des responsables dans divers secteurs de l’armée, incluant la logistique et les opérations.
