(Ouagadougou, 4 juillet 2024). Le Président du Faso, Chef de l’Etat, le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE a accordé, ce jeudi matin, une audience à une délégation de la 36e promotion des stagiaires de l’Ecole d’Etat-major national de Koulikoro au Mali en voyage d’études dans notre pays.
Cette 36e cuvée de l’Ecole d’Etat-major national de Koulikoro est composée de stagiaires du Burkina Faso, du Bénin, du Cameroun, de la Guinée Conakry, du Mali, du Niger, du Sénégal et du Tchad.
Conduite par le Général de brigade Moussa Yôrô KANTE, Directeur des Ecoles militaires du Mali, la délégation a saisi l’occasion pour présenter ses respects au Chef de l’Etat, Chef suprême des Forces armées nationales, le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE et recueillir ses instructions et ses conseils.
« Il nous a fait comprendre, surtout les stagiaires qui sont en fin de formation, le rôle crucial que doit avoir l’Officier aujourd’hui dans le cadre de la vie de nos Etats. L’officier ne doit plus se contenter d’être un porteur d’armes mais doit être un leader pour ses subordonnés et pour le peuple », a soutenu le Général de brigade Moussa Yôrô KANTE.
Le Burkina Faso, le Mali et le Niger réunis au sein de l’Alliance des Etats du Sahel (AES) ont engagé une lutte commune contre le terrorisme, pour la paix et le développement. « Le Président nous a instruits de revoir nos curricula afin d’être à mesure d’apporter la sécurité à laquelle nos populations aspirent légitimement », a conclu le directeur des Ecoles militaires du Mali.
