Salem Bazoum, le fils de l’ancien président nigérien, Mohamed Bazoum, a pris son vol pour la ville de Dubaï.
C’est l’information que nous rapporte la rédaction du site d’information Jeune Afrique ce vendredi 19 avril 2024.
Mis en résidence surveillée depuis le 8 janvier 2024 dans la capitale togolaise, Lomé, Salem Bazoum s’est envolé ces derniers jours pour Dubaï.
A en croire le site Jeune Afrique, Salem Bazoum a rejoint la ville émiratie afin de poursuivre ses études.
En détention avec son père Mohamed Bazoum pendant environ 5 mois, c’est-à-dire du 26 juillet 2023 au 8 janvier 2024, Salem Bazoum a été remis en liberté provisoire et séjournait en résidence surveillée à Lomé.
Désormais, il a eu l’autorisation de quitter la ville togolaise et a donc rejoint Dubaï.
Cependant, il faut noter que Salem Bazoum reste toujours inculpé par la justice nigérienne pour « complot ayant pour but de porter atteinte à l’autorité ou à la sûreté de l’État ».
Le fils de l’ancien président a toujours obligation de répondre à la justice toute fois qu’on lui fera appel.
Pour rappel, Mohamed Bazoum, le président nigérien déchu le 26 juillet 2023 est toujours détenu par la junte avec son épouse.
Il est accusé de « haute trahison » et « apologie et financement du terrorisme ».
