Le Président de la Transition, Chef de l’Etat, le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE, a reçu en audience, ce samedi en fin de matinée, l’artiste musicien malien, Salif KEITA présent à Ouagadougou dans le cadre d’un concert qui aura lieu demain dimanche 10 décembre.
Salif KEITA a encouragé le Président de la Transition pour les efforts engagés dans la reconquête du territoire national, pour son engagement à la mise en place de l’Alliance des Etats du Sahel (AES), et aussi pour sa vision d’une Afrique véritablement indépendante.
Par cette visite au Burkina Faso, le chanteur affirme également son soutien à la mise en œuvre de cette alliance entre les trois pays du Liptako Gourma.
Artiste engagé pour une Afrique solidaire et prospère, Salif KEITA a récemment démissionné de l’Assemblée législative de Transition malienne pour occuper le poste de conseiller spécial du Président Assimi Goïta.
