Santé : le seul cas de Chikungunya est guéri

Un cas de chikungunya a été découvert au Mali ce 30 septembre à Bamako. Les autorités sanitaires ont annoncé sa guérison. L’information est confirmée par la direction nationale de la santé. Au même moment, la prise en charge des cas de dengue se poursuit dans les districts sanitaires.

La direction nationale de la santé indique que l’information selon laquelle il y aurait deux cas de chikungunya est fausse. Elle regrette que l’information ait été reliée par certains médias. Selon Dr Yacouba Koné, responsable de la surveillance épidémiologique à la direction générale de la santé, le seul cas confirmé à cette date est guéri.

S’agissant de la dengue, 31 cas sont confirmés à la date de ce 5 octobre. Ils sont en grande partie repartis entre les districts sanitaires de Bamako et de Koulikoro. A ceux-ci, s’ajoute un cas confirmé à Mopti et à Segou selon la direction générale de la santé.

Elle a par ailleurs indiqué que le malade confirmé de la dengue à Mopti est venu du Burkina Faso.

Des gestes simples pour se prémunir de la maladie

Les responsables sanitaires invitent les populations aux gestes simples d’hygiènes pour se protéger de la dengue et du Chikungunya. Parmi ces précautions, les spécialistes de santé appellent à plus de propreté dans les cours et autour des concessions.
