Depuis le dimanche 30 avril 2023, dans un communiqué signé par le Patron de la Direction de l’Information et des relations publiques des armées (DIRPA), le Colonel-major Souleymane DEMBELE a informé l’opinion nationale, de l’interdiction du port des tenues militaires par les civils dans notre pays. Malgré le communiqué des FAMa, des civils continuent de porter des tenues militaires et au vu et au su de la hiérarchie militaire. Pour preuve, des motocyclistes civils habillés en tenue militaire, circulent à Bamako sans aucune inquiétude.
Si dans un passé récent, cette pratique pouvait être considérée comme une manifestation de soutien à l’armée, de nos jours, force est de constater qu’elle est utilisée par les ennemis de la paix pour commettre des forfaits dont les FAMa sont parfois les victimes.

C’est ce qui ressort du document signé par le Chef de la DIRPA, le 30 avril 2023.
Selon les constats, aucune mesure n’a été prise par la hiérarchie pour accompagner la décision.
Parce que, jusqu’à preuve de contraire, la population a du mal à faire la différence entre les FAMa et des citoyens à cause du port illégal de la tenue militaire. Malgré ces preuves, les pouvoirs publics n’arrivent pas à empêcher des civils de porter la tenue militaire.
« Il est important que les civils ayant pris l’habitude de porter illégalement les tenues militaires, prennent conscience du danger que représente ce phénomène et dont pourraient profiter des terroristes qui sont soumis à une forte pression », a déclaré le Colonel-major Souleymane DEMBELE.
La question est de savoir si le port de la tenue militaire par les civils ne constitue plus un danger de nos jours ? Les FAMa ne sont-ils pas confrontés à des cas de confusion entre les combattants et les civils au front lors de leurs opérations ?
