Suite à une nouvelle Assemblée générale en date du 18 novembre dernier, le groupement des associations des promoteurs d’écoles privées agréées du Mali (GAPEPAM) appelle à un nouvel arrêt de travail de 120 heures à partir de ce lundi, 20 novembre au vendredi 24 novembre 2023.
Cela fait exactement trois semaines consécutives que le secteur des écoles privées du Mali reste « paralysé ». Une situation qui n’est pas sans conséquence sur l’avenir des enfants victimes. Pourtant, le ministre de l’Education nationale soutient appeler les plaignants du jour au dialogue et estime d’ailleurs que des efforts ont été fournis par le gouvernement pour pouvoir baiser les tensions.
Mais les syndicalistes semblent avoir décidé de rester toujours droit dans leurs bottes pour une résolution définitive du problème qu’ils subissent. Ils viennent, encore une fois, d’annoncer un nouvel arrêt de travail de 120 heures suite à leur Assemblée générale du samedi dernier. « Le groupement des associations des promoteurs d’écoles privées agréées du Mali a tenu, samedi 18 novembre 2023 à la bibliothèque nationale, une Assemblée générale extraordinaire ».
Après avoir évalué la situation opposant la corporation au gouvernement de la transition, les syndicalistes font part, dans un communiqué, de la reconduction de la cessation de travail pour 120 heures à compter de ce lundi 20 novembre au vendredi 24 sur toute l’étendue du territoire national.
Cet arrêt de travail sera observé dans les établissements privés d’enseignement secondaire général, technique et professionnel, confient les syndicalistes. Signé par huit (8) syndicats, ce communiqué réitère que les syndicalistes réclament le paiement intégral et sans condition sur toute l’étendue du territoire des frais scolaires et demi-bourses de l’année scolaire 2022-2023.
Cette nouvelle perturbation de cours intervient alors que le ministre en charge du domaine affirme que des efforts ont été consentis par les autorités. Lors de l’arrêt de travail de la semaine dernière, le ministre de tutelle avait fait un communiqué en estimant que la position des syndicalistes est étonnante. « Cette décision est d’autant plus surprenante que sur un reliquat de 3 499 467 000 F à payer au niveau du district de Bamako, le ministre de l’Economie et des Finances s’est engagé à régler, immédiatement, un montant de 2 000 000 000 F dès l’établissement des conditions par les services compétents », lit-on dans le document publié la semaine dernière par le département de tutelle.
Le même communiqué invitait les syndicalistes au dialogue qui, estime le ministre, doit prévaloir dans cette situation. « Le ministre de l’Education nationale réitère son appel au dialogue et à la préservation des intérêts des enfants du Mali », indique-t-on.
