Le chef de la diplomatie russe a exprimé sa gratitude aux pays africains pour leur position équilibrée face à la crise ukrainienne malgré la pression de l’Occident. Lors d’un gala consacré à la Journée de l’Afrique, le ministre Lavrov a promis que Moscou ne cesserait de travailler pour assurer la sécurité alimentaire sur le continent.

Lors de son intervention au gala fait en l’honneur des ambassadeurs africains et consacré à la Journée mondiale de l’Afrique, le ministre russe des Affaires étrangères a remercié les pays du continent qui ne s’étaient pas laissés attirer dans les filets de la campagne antirusse et avaient adopté une position équilibrée à l’égard de la crise sécuritaire européenne.

«La Russie accomplit consciencieusement ses obligations dans le cadre des contrats internationaux en termes d’exportations de produits agroalimentaires, d’engrais, d’hydrocarbures et d’autres produits faisant l’objet d’un besoin aigu en Afrique. Nous continuerons de le faire malgré des entraves créées par l’Occident pour empêcher une coopération légitime de la Russie avec les pays du continent», a indiqué le ministre.

Il a noté que Moscou et ses amis africains ne cessaient d’œuvrer pour la sécurité alimentaire sur le continent.

«La Russie apporte sa coopération équitable aux pays du continent africain visant à raffermir leur souveraineté, et assurer la sécurité, et la hausse économique. Voici en quoi consiste notre principale différence avec l’Occident qui n’a pas pu se débarrasser de son complexe de supériorité», a déclaré le chef de la diplomatie russe.

Sanctions occidentales et crise mondiale
Les sanctions adoptées par l’Occident contre la Russie ces dernières années, surtout après le début de l’opération militaire spéciale russe dans le Donbass en 2022, se sont répercutées sur l’Europe et les États-Unis. Elles y ont fait monter le taux d’inflation, les prix de l’énergie, des carburants et de produits alimentaires.

Selon le président russe, la politique occidentale de dissuasion et d’affaiblissement de Moscou fait partie d’une stratégie à long terme, mais les sanctions ont sérieusement frappé l’ensemble de l’économie mondiale. Vladimir Poutine a indiqué à ce propos que le principal objectif de l’Occident était de détériorer la vie de millions de gens mais que la Russie serait capable de régler les problèmes créés par l’Occident.
