Bamako avait déjà reçu 500 milliards de francs CFA, soit 780 millions de dollars, en décembre 2024 après la conclusion d’accords avec des sociétés minières, a annoncé Alousséni Sanou, ministre de l’Économie et des finances du pays.
D’ici le 31 mars, environ 750 milliards de francs CFA (1,2 milliard de dollars) devraient être perçus par l’État malien au total, a -t-il fait savoir en s’adressant aux parlementaires, selon ORTM.
L’État cherchera à augmenter ses recettes, selon le ministre, à la suite de l’élargissement de sa participation dans les entreprises de production de 20% à 35%, en vertu du nouveau code minier promulgué en 2023.
La nouvelle législation permet à Bamako de percevoir 7,5% des ventes si le prix de l’or dépasse 1.500 dollars l’once, a encore indiqué le ministre des Finances.
