Le Président de la Transition, Chef de l’Etat, le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE s’est entretenu, dès son arrivée, avec les Forces de défense et de sécurité (FDS) de la région des Cascades qui veillent pour garantir la paix et la sécurité aux populations.
Le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE a félicité les forces combattantes de cette zone frontalière pour les acquis engrangés dans la lutte contre le terrorisme. Il les a encouragées pour les perspectives dans le cadre du combat engagé pour la libération totale, cette « guerre de décolonisation ».
Selon le Président de la Transition, la guerre que mène le Burkina Faso n’est pas seulement contre le terrorisme. « Préparez-vous à la guerre de haute intensité », a donc déclaré le Chef de l’Etat qui met en garde les ennemis et leurs complices.
« Quiconque, je dis bien quiconque, que ce soit des terroristes ou tout autre armée qui croit venir troubler notre quiétude, nous devrons nous préparer pour les accueillir sur le long terme et intensément », a prévenu le Capitaine Ibrahim TRAORE.
Pour ce faire, les dispositions sont prises en termes de capacités opérationnelles logistiques, humaines et techniques. « Ce terrorisme sera vaincu », a rassuré le Président de la Transition.
Les préoccupations liées aux techniques de combat et aux conditions de travail des forces combattantes seront analysées et des réponses appropriées apportées en vue de la victoire imminente de notre pays dans cette guerre.
Le Chef de l’Etat s’est félicité du lien fort Armée-Nation et a invité les FDS à renforcer davantage ce lien ainsi que la collaboration avec les Volontaires pour la défense de la patrie (VDP).
