Le gouvernement de la transition du Burkina Faso a adopté mercredi un projet de loi visant à réviser la Constitution en y intégrant de grandes réformes, selon un compte rendu du Conseil des ministres publié le même jour.
S’exprimant à l’issue du Conseil des ministres, le ministre en charge de la justice, Edasso Rodrigue Bayala, a déclaré que parmi les réformes incluses dans ce projet de loi figurait l’institutionnalisation des langues nationales comme langues officielles. La langue française ne sera plus la langue officielle, mais une langue de travail.
Le projet de loi prévoit également la suppression du Médiateur du Faso et du Conseil économique et social (CES), dont les attributions et les missions seront confiées à une nouvelle institution dénommée Conseil national des communautés, a-t-il fait savoir.
Ce projet de loi intègre également la transformation de l’Agence nationale de renseignement en Conseil national de sécurité, qui sera constitutionnalisé, ainsi que le réaménagement du régime de responsabilité pénale des dirigeants politiques qui entraîne nécessairement la suppression de la Haute cour de justice, dont les compétences seront données à la Chambre criminelle de la Cour d’appel de Ouagadougou, a ajouté le ministre.
