BAMAKO, 22 septembre (Xinhua) — Cinq terroristes ont été tués à la suite d’opérations militaires menées dans la zone tampon entre le centre et le nord du Mali, a annoncé jeudi l’armée sur son site officiel.
Par ailleurs, cinq Kalachnikov, quatre motos, des moyens de communication, des chargeurs et « divers matériels de fabrication de mines artisanales ont été récupérés », a-t-elle ajouté sans indiquer aucune victime dans ses rangs.
Les accrochages sont survenus vers 16h30 quand un détachement militaire a « déjoué et riposté vigoureusement » à une embuscade de guetteurs terroristes dans le secteur entre Nampala (centre) et Léré, près de Tombouctou (nord), a précisé l’armée, ajoutant que l’attaque a pris la forme de tirs d’obus qui ont causé la mort de deux civils et blessé cinq autres.
Le 17 septembre, cinq soldats et une quarantaine de terroristes ont été tués lors d’une attaque complexe de terroristes circulant à bord de véhicules et de motos visant les camps de la Garde nationale et de l’armée de Terre à Léré.
Depuis 2012, le Mali est en proie à une expansion terroriste et à une profonde crise multidimensionnelle, notamment sécuritaire, politique, économique et humanitaire.
