Un drame a frappé la ville de Kéniéba. Un apprenti mécanicien de 17 ans a été emporté aux environs de 23 h par les eaux, suite à de fortes pluies ayant causé d’énormes dégâts. Baissou Garmé, se trouvait sur le pont de la rivière Doude, en forte crue. Aussitôt la triste nouvelle annoncée, la police et la protection civile ont été dépêchées sur les lieux pour mener des opérations de recherche et de sauvetage en dépit des conditions météorologiques difficiles. Malheureusement, son corps de Baissou Garmé a retrouvé seulement trois jours après et repose au cimetière de Somabougou.

Cet incident rappelle l’importance de la sécurité en période de fortes pluies et souligne le besoin de mesures préventives pour éviter la répétition de tel drame.
