L’armée malienne a annoncé la neutralisation de plusieurs combattants terroristes sans préciser le nombre. Cette information a été donnée sur la page officielle des Forces armées maliennes (FAMa). Le lundi 28 août 2023, aux environs de 14 h 00 et sur la base de renseignements précis, l’aviation FAMa a visé un regroupement de groupes armés terroristes (GAT) dans le secteur d’Anéfis, auteurs de plusieurs exactions contre les populations civiles et d’attaques contre les forces régaliennes. Selon l’armée, ces GAT étaient en préparation d’attaques contre des positions FAMa. En adoptant la posture offensive, les FAMa affirment avoir neutralisé plusieurs combattants terroristes et 04 pick-up. Dans la poursuite de la reconnaissance offensive dans le même secteur d’Anéfis, le mardi 29 août 2023, aux environs de 08 h 00, des frappes aériennes ont été menées contre des colonnes de véhicules des groupes armés terroristes observées à 12 km d’une forêt non loin d’Anefis. Selon des renseignements précis, ces groupes sont en train de planifier des attaques contre des populations civiles et des postes FAMa. Par ailleurs, sur la base de renseignements, les FAMa ont neutralisé, le même jour vers 09 H 45 à 14 km au Nord-Est de Niafunké, Adou Diallo, un influent terroriste activement recherché. Selon l’armée, l’Intéressé était impliqué dans le tir d’obus contre le Camp de la garde à Tombouctou le 18 août dernier. D’après les détails fournis par l’armée, il y a eu des échanges de tirs au cours de la poursuite de cet influent terroriste avant qu’il ne soit neutralisé. 01 PM, 01 poste radio et des munitions ont été récupérés sur lui.
