La cour constitutionnelle du Mali donne le “Oui vainqueur du référendum constitutionnel. La Cour a rejeté les requêtes introduites par le camp du “Non”.
Les résultats définitifs du scrutin référendaire des 11 et 18 juin 2023 ont étés proclamés par la cour constitutionnelle ce vendredi 21 juillet 2023. Sur les 8 463 084 inscrits il y a eu 3 235 423 votants, 25 241 bulletins nuls. Le oui l’emporte avec 3. 110. 877 soit 96, 91% contre 99. 309 votants soit 3,09% pour le non. Ces résultats bien que légèrement en deçà confirment ceux proclamées par l’autorité indépendante de gestion des élections il y a quelques semaines. L’AIGE avait donné le “OUI” vainqueur avec plus de 97% des voix et le “NON” avec près de 3%.
La cour constitutionnelle à rejeté toutes les requêtes introduites par les partisans du non. Avec la proclamation de ces résultats définitifs, le Président de la Transition va donc promulguer la nouvelle constitution du Mali. Celle-ci abroge donc l’actuelle constitution en vigueur. Le Président de la transition a, à présent, quinze jours pour promulguer la nouvelle constitution du Mali. La veille de la proclamation de ces résultats définitifs, le front uni contre le referendum, a exigé la démission des membres de l’AIGE. Ses responsables estiment que cette démission va créer des conditions d’une élection présidentielle transparente.
