Le 2 septembre 2024, la brigade de recherche du Commissariat de Police de Sogoniko a saisi une énorme quantité de munitions à Banankabougou en Commune VI du District de Bamako.
Cette mission, dirigée par le Commissaire divisionnaire Sékou Mané et son adjoint, le Commissaire de Police Zeïnabou Walett Ichakane, a surpris le malfrat qui a pris la fuite, laissant un sac 25 kilo sur place. Après fouille, les policiers ont découvert une énorme quantité de munitions, composée de : 363 cartouches pour PM 9 mm longs, 186 cartouches pour PKM 7,62 mm, et une cartouche pour P.A 9 mm court.
