Le Mali et le Burkina Faso affichent désormais leur volonté commune de maintenir des relations de coopération dynamiques et plus resserrées qui embrassent l’ensemble des secteurs d’activités de la vie de nos deux nations. Tel est le message fort que l’on peut retenir de la 10è session de la grande Commission mixte de coopération Mali-Burkina Faso, tenue hier à Bamako.

La vision commune de nos deux chefs d’état a été le fil conducteur qui a permis de mobiliser les deux délégations, de repenser et d’inventer, dans la fraternité et la convivialité, notre coopération pour un vivre-ensemble.

Au finish, les experts des deux parties ont arrêté 24 nouveaux projets d’accord de coopération qui concernent les domaines ci-après : la justice, l’administration du territoire et la sécurité, l’économie et le commerce, la certification des normes, la recherche scientifique routière, la diplomatie, le transport, aérien et ferroviaire. Également les secteurs de l’action sociale et humanitaire, de la jeunesse et de l’emploi, de la défense, des infrastructures, de l’énergie, des mines et des carrières sont concernés.

Après un tête-à-tête, le ministre des Affaires étrangères et de la Coopération internationale, Abdoulaye Diop, et son homologue du Burkina Faso, Mme Olivia Rouamba, ont paraphé ces conventions.

Auparavant, lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture, le ministre des Affaires étrangères, de la Coopération régionale et des Burkinabés de l’extérieur avait loué l’engagement au plus haut sommet de nos deux pays ayant prévalu à la tenue de la présente consultation temporaire qui témoigne de l’importance que nos deux pays accordent à cette coopération.

Il était donc urgent pour les deux états de renouer avec la tradition. Dans le but de revisiter leur coopération, et dans une vision prospective, dégager des axes de partenariat susceptibles de renforcer la coopération existante, tout en prenant en compte les défis auxquels les deux nouvelles nations sont confrontées.

« Cette session de la Commission mixte sera certainement gravée dans les annales de notre marche commune vers la consolidation de notre coopération, en vue du développement solidaire de nos deux nations. Car, il convient de le souligner avec force, la détermination et la volonté plus que jamais affichés de nos autorités de voir s’accélérer la mise en œuvre de nos projets communs», a apprécié Mme Olivia Rouamba, soutenant que la dynamisation de la coopération sont également passés par l’extension de notre cadre juridique.

Son homologue du Mali a également précisé que la rencontre s’est inscrite dans la dynamique du raffermissement et de la diversification des domaines de coopération entre le Mali et le Burkina Faso. Les deux pays, relèvera Abdoulaye Diop, sont tous confrontés à une crise sécuritaire qui a eu comme conséquence une situation de transition politique, qu’ils ont su transformer en opportunité. Pour, entre autres, garantir l’appropriation nationale de la résolution de leurs défis, réaffirmer la centralité de leur souveraineté nationale, axer leurs décisions sur leurs intérêts légitimes et les besoins de leurs populations et faire respecter leurs choix stratégiques.

« Le contexte actuel est certes difficile pour nos deux pays qui traversent une période charnière de leur histoire. Le recul n’est plus permis, ce qui requiert de nos états la conjugaison des efforts pour mieux faire face aux menaces actuelles et le renforcement de notre coopération dans tous les domaines, dans un esprit de solidarité accru», a évalué le chef de la diplomatie malienne.

Il convient de retenir avec satisfaction que cette grande Commission mixte de coopération Mali-Burkina a été une même réelle opportunité de regarder dans la direction, en vue d’un développement harmonieux et solidaire.
