Les violences des hommes armés non identifiés continuent dans le centre du Mali. Plus d’une dizaine de personnes ont été tuées, dans les régions de Bandiagara et Ségou ce week-end.

Le village de Bodio situé à 15 km de Bandiagara sur le tronçon Bandiagara-Bankass a été attaqué, samedi 5 août dans la soirée, par des hommes armés non identifiés. Selon des sources locales, une quinzaine de personnes ont trouvé la mort et plusieurs autres blessés. Elles ajoutent également que les assaillants ont brûlé des maisons et des cases avant d’emporter tout le bétail.

A Macina dans la région de Ségou, un cultivateur a été tué vendredi dernier dans son champs de mil par des hommes armés non identifiés à Sirablé dans la commune de Monimpébougou. Selon certains habitants, il a été assassiné en présence de ces deux fils. Les mêmes sources indiquent que la victime a bravé l’interdiction de cultiver cette saison, faite par des hommes armés.

Hausse du nombre de déplacés

Le nombre de déplacés augmente dans la région de Bandiagara. Selon un des responsables du site des déplacés dans la ville, plus de 500 ménages sont à ce jour enregistrés sur place. Ces déplacés souhaitent le retour de la paix afin qu’ils puissent regagner leurs localités.
