Le vendredi 14 juillet 2023, à Ouolofobougou-Bolibana, une femme écrase la tête de son neveu avec un pilon. Selon les sources locales, elle a commis cet acte parce que le neveu a eu une dispute avec sa fille.

Les faits se sont déroulés dans l’après-midi aux environs de 13heures quand Sitan Coulibaly, la femme de Yacouba Traoré (victime du drame), partait déposer l’eau de sa belle-mère aux toilettes pour qu’elle se lave.

Selon les voisins, des malentendus parviennent dans cette famille depuis plusieurs moments. Sitan Coulibaly explique sa version des faits. « Je partais déposer l’eau de ma belle-mère dans les toilettes quand Mama (la fille de l’accusée) était arrêtée sur la route de passage. Je lui ai dit de quitter pour que je puisse passer, mais elle a refusé. Du coup, ma main l’a touchée. C’est là que tout a commencé », a-t-elle raconté. Et soudain, Yacouba, le mari de Sitan, qui était assis à la porte de la maison d’en face, intervient et cherche à connaître la raison de la bagarre. Il demande ainsi à Mama de laisser sa femme tranquille. Celle-ci commence à lui crier dessus, ce qui l’a mis en colère.

Quelques minutes plus tard, Assan Niono, la tante de Yacouba et auteure du forfait, sort de sa chambre et s’attaque à ce dernier et sa femme. D’après les témoignages, Mama est la cause de toutes les disputes de la maison. Selon les mêmes témoignages, elle est intouchable.

Yacouba dit à sa femme de se calmer et retourne dans sa chambre. C’est à cet instant qu’Assan se sert d’un pilon et tape deux fois la tête de son neveu qui tomba et s’évanouit. Il reçut un troisième coup au sol. Sa femme Sitan court pour l’aider à se relever. Mama aussi vient avec le pilon essayant de taper sitan qui a été touchée à la main. Elle s’exclama en ces termes : « Vous êtes tous des personnes à tuer ». Avant de dire qu’ils ont eu ce qu’ils cherchaient.

Les personnes présentes sur les lieux ont vite appelé la police qui, à son tour, a fait appel aux sapeurs-pompiers. Une fois sur place, ces derniers ont transporté Yacouba dans un hôpital. Mais c’était trop tard, car la victime avait déjà perdu la vie. Ses funérailles ont eu lieu le 18 juillet dernier.

Amenée à la police, Assan nie les faits qui lui sont reprochés en évoquant que Yacouba a piqué une crise. Mais, l’épouse de la victime, Sitan, affirme que Assan a donné trois coups de pilon à Yacouba à la suite desquels il s’est s’évanoui. Cette version a été contredite par Mama qui soutient que les propos de sa belle sœur ne sont pas vrais. Elle souligne aussi que sa mère n’a pris aucun pilon et que Yacouba a piqué une crise. Ce qui a carrément été démenti par Sitan qui affirme que depuis 7 ans de mariage aucune maladie n’a été déclarée chez son mari.
