Dans un communiqué rendu public, le 22 juillet 2023, les jeunes de l’Association malienne pour la protection et la promotion de la culture dogon « Ginna Dogon » ont attiré l’attention des autorités de la transition sur la dégradation de la situation sécuritaire au centre du Mali. Selon les jeunes de Ginna Dogon, depuis un certain temps, la zone du pays Dogon fait face à des attaques barbares récurrentes qui ont entrainé de nombreuses pertes en vies humaines, d’importants dégâts matériels, et provoqué des déplacements forcés des populations. A cet effet, ils ont invité le gouvernement du Mali à agir avec détermination et diligence pour mettre fin à cette spirale de violences qui secoue le pays Dogon pour permettre aux populations de mener leurs activités dans la quiétude.

Le Bureau de la Commission Nationale des Jeunes de « Ginna Dogon » vient, par la présente, attirer l’attention des autorités de la transition sur les préoccupations grandissantes concernant la dégradation de la situation sécuritaire au centre de notre pays en général et au pays Dogon en particulier. Les jeunes de Ginna Dogon ont indiqué que les événements récents dans cette partie du pays suscitent de vives inquiétudes quant à la sécurité des populations en cette période de campagne agricole. « En effet, depuis un certain temps, la zone du pays Dogon fait face à des attaques barbares récurrentes qui ont entrainé de nombreuses pertes en vies humaines, d’importants dégâts matériels, et provoqué des déplacements forcés des populations. Parmi ces récentes victimes, nous pouvons citer les cas des villages de Amassagou, Dougara, Parou, Ogossagou, Simikanda, Ouo Djina, Djankoin, qui viennent assombrir la liste déjà tristement longue des villages meurtris par ces violences. Nous condamnons avec la dernière rigueur ces actes inhumains d’une autre époque perpétrés par des groupes d’individus sans foi, ni loi », souligne le communiqué des jeunes de Ginna Dogon, sous la plume de leur président, Bocary Guindo. Malgré les efforts déployés par l’Etat jusqu’ici pour endiguer le mal, les jeunes de Ginna Dogon indiquent qu’il est indéniable que les dispositifs sur le terrain ne sont pas suffisamment efficaces pour assurer la sécurité des personnes et leurs biens. Pour les jeunes de Ginna Dogon, les conséquences de cette dégradation sécuritaire sont désastreuses, entrainant une détresse humanitaire considérable et sapant la confiance de la population envers les autorités de l’Etat. «Sachant qu’il est de la responsabilité de l’Etat de garantir la sécurité et la protection de tous les citoyens, partout sur le territoire national, nous interpellons le gouvernement du Mali à agir avec détermination et diligence pour mettre fin à cette spirale de violences qui secoue le pays Dogon pour permettre aux populations de mener leurs activités dans la quiétude », révèle le communiqué des jeunes de Ginna Dogon.
