Le Commissaire Divisionnaire Issiaka Traoré, en charge du Commissariat de police du Centre commercial, et ses hommes, ont démantelé un réseau de trafic de drogue à travers l’arrestation de trois individus dont une femme en possession de 15 briques d’herbe de cannabis de qualité “couchi”.
Selon nos sources, c’est sur la base de plusieurs dénonciations que les éléments du poste de police de Rail-da ont tendu un piège à un membre du réseau répondant aux initiales I.C qui a abouti à son interpellation en possession de la drogue.
Conduit dans les locaux du poste de police pour des investigations plus poussées et soumis aux feux des questions, il a avoué être l’envoyé d’un certain Mark Agbedor, de nationalité ghanéenne, propriétaire desdits produits.
Sur place, une dame se présente aux policiers, en affirmant être l’émissaire du même Mark pour trouver une formule auprès des limiers en vue d’obtenir la libération du nommé I.C. Elle a été immédiatement interpellée. Conduite dans les locaux du Commissariat du Centre Commercial, la dame, lors de son interrogatoire, a confié aux limiers être la concubine de Mark Agbedor. Et d’ajouter que ce dernier est un transporteur disposant d’un camion qui fait la navette entre les pays de la sous-région.
Après avoir appris l’arrestation de ses acolytes, Mark a pris la fuite. Mais, c’était compter sans la détermination des hommes du Divisionnaire Issiaka Traoré. Car, il a été interpellé à bord de son camion, le lendemain matin à la frontière Mali-Burkina Faso, par les limiers en collaboration avec les policiers du 1er arrondissement de Sikasso.
Conduit à Bamako pour être interrogé, Agbedor n’a pas nié les faits à lui reprochés. La bande a été mise à la disposition de la justice aux fins de droit.
