Le Premier ministre Moctar Ouane a présidé vendredi 27 novembre 2020, une réunion de concertation sur la feuille de route pour la mise en œuvre des recommandations du Forum national sur la violence en milieu universitaire et son plan d’actions, a constaté l’Essor.

Outre le ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche scientifique, celui de l’Education nationale, on notait la présence de plusieurs autres membres du gouvernement, de responsables de l’université, de la sécurité nationale et d’acteurs de la société civile, tous impliqués dans la gestion de l’école malienne.

Le Chef du gouvernement a rappelé la place prépondérante de l’école comme « lieu de transmission des valeurs et des savoirs », dans l’éducation des enfants. Cette école malienne, jadis enviée dans toute la sous-région, offre malheureusement aujourd’hui un triste spectacle qui « questionne sur l’avenir même de la nation ».

En effet, elle est gangrenée par une « violence endémique, entretenue et utilisée comme mode d’action par des groupes d’étudiants, qui est en passe de compromettre toutes les politiques éducatives de notre pays ». Au fil des ans, l’espace scolaire, a regretté le Chef du Gouvernement, « est devenu hautement criminogène ».

Selon l’orateur, des armes y circulent et le trafic et la consommation de stupéfiants y prospèrent, alimentant vandalismes, agressions, humiliations et viols, perpétrés au quotidien sur d’autres étudiants, sur des professeurs ou sur le personnel administratif et technique.

Ce triste constat ainsi que l’échec de nombreuses initiatives visant à juguler le phénomène, ont conduit les autorités de la Transition, à faire de la refonte du système scolaire un axe prioritaire de la Feuille de route, dont la mise en œuvre nécessite l’union sacrée de l’ensemble des Maliens autour de l’école, a indiqué le Premier ministre Ouane.

Selon la Primature, des mesures vigoureuses sont recommandées pour ramener l’école à son objectif premier : Assurer l’éducation des enfants dans la sérénité et la sécurité.
